Irena Kuzmanović completed Bachelor degree studies – Department of Applied Art, Faculty of Applied Arts, Belgrade, generation student in 2012. Master degree studies she completed at the same faculty, class of prof. Nikola Božović in 2015. During her studies she was granted a scholarship by both the City of Belgrade and the Republic of Serbia. Also, she was awarded a scholarship by Fund for Young Talents of the Republic of Serbia “Dositej”. She had 8 solo exhibitions and participated in more than 40 group exhibitions in the country and abroad. In 2020 she gained the status of a freelance artist; Since 2022 a doctoral candidate at the Faculty of Applied Arts, Belgrade; Chosen as a professional associate-demonstrator during her doctorate studies. She is the winner of four awards for painting, one special award, and one commendation. Apart from private collections, the works of art are in the collection of the “Marriot” hotel in Belgrade, the work “Ephemerality” and in the National Museum Šabac, the work “S(c)enes I-IX” – Purchased by the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Serbia. Lives and works in Belgrade.
