In December 2021, DOTS Foundation – sector for contemporary art – initiated the Young Art program. The program’s goal is to stimulate, promote, and finance art production by young artists. The Foundation plans to offer greater visibility to artists through organizing group and individual exhibitions both at the DOTS GALLERY in Belgrade and galleries abroad, but also through publications and on-line/social network promotion.

DOTS Gallery – a place that celebrates contemporary art

For many years, Lower Dorćol has been a part of the city known for its urban and artistic content, offering numerous opportunities to practice and enjoy contemporary forms of artistic expression. Street art, artistic communities, and old industrial buildings as sources of inspiration all contribute to the area’s unique atmosphere along the banks of the Danube. It was precisely here that DOTS Gallery settled a few years ago—a place dedicated to celebrating contemporary art.

The gallery supports artistic research and the invention of artistic languages and forms that introduce new social and aesthetic values. One of the gallery’s key goals is to strengthen the position of contemporary art and culture in society, promote them both locally and internationally, and connect the local art scene with international ones.

The gallery is located in the K-District, which has become a popular riverside residential area and a business hub of the city’s historic core. The founder of DOTS Gallery is Vladimir Gogoljev, co-founder of the company Levi9 and the K-District development.
